We serve the entire United States from 42 conveniently located branch locations in the U.S. and Canada and provide products and services throughout multiple industries, in both the private and public sector.ResponsibilitiesWhat do our RegulatoryCompliance Safety Manager's do ?The Regulatory Compliance Safety Managers are responsible for the coordination and management of company safety and some environmental programs. Contributes to meeting the mission and goals of the company and all other applicable regulatory agencies. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Studies workplace environmental factors that may adversely affect employee safety and health hazards, comfort and productivity. Additional responsibilities to adhere to all agriculture applicable laws regulations as regards to fertilizer, pesticide, seed, herbicide and insecticide products. Not limited to State Federal registration and labeling requirements. Knowledge of dealer license requirements. Accomplishes compliance business objectives by producing value added results; offering information and opinion as a member of management; integrating objectives with other business units; directing staff.Responsibilities include but are not limited to;and#8226;Coordinates the safety programs to ensure a safe environment consistent with regulatory, environmental, and company requirements and needs.and#8226;Promotes the company mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives by formulating plans, procedures, and objectives for safety programs and by evaluating effectiveness of the program.and#8226;Creates and maintains a work environment that encourages open communication and positive employee relations to establish a climate of openness and trust.and#8226;Seeks out opportunities for staff involvement and innovation to promote employee creativity and to generate ideas to improve functions, devise solutions, and implement plans.and#8226;Understand OSHA regulations and standards, including guidance on handling OSHA compliance, inspections and citations.and#8226;Evaluates hazardous conditions and practices and develops hazard control practices and programs.and#8226;Investigates all injuries and near miss incidents.and#8226;Assists in communicating hazard control information and evaluates effectiveness of the control.and#8226;Keeps apprised of developments in federal and state safety laws likely to affect the company.and#8226;Develop safety policies and procedures and train on them.and#8226;Interface with local, state and federal regulatory inspectors, i.e, OSHA, CUPA, Fire, agriculture, DHS, EPA.and#8226;Develop and implement generic safe working instructions for routine and non-routine work activities based on the findings of the generic risk assessments.and#8226;Develop, implement and maintain a SHE risk register, which identifies the significant SHE risks arising from the business's activities and the controls, required to eliminate / reduce these risks to an acceptable level.and#8226;Maintains and Tracks all internal training on compliance requirements for OSHA, Fire, Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) and other federal and state agencies for all colleagues on digital platforms.and#8226;Develops and maintains training content and modules on the Learning Development Platform for education, auditing, and inspection requirements.
