Target serves the entire United States from 43 conveniently located branch locations and provides products and services to the following industries, in both the private and public sector: structural pest control, landscape construction and maintenance, golf course maintenance and turf-grassand#160;maintenance, production nursery, industrial vegetation management, aquatic, forestry and vector control./spanfont class="bold"Responsibilities/fontspanWhat do our Purchasing Administrator's do?and#160;/spanand#160;spanspanThis position will be responsible to provide support to the procurement team by carrying out general administrative duties. /spanspanThe role involves creating and updating items and vendors, sometimes making purchase orders, updating records, and responding to order issues.and#160; Assisting in the day to day upkeep of critical elements of the procurement department.and#160; /spanspanSalary commensurate with qualifications and experience./span/spanand#160;spanResponsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:/spanspanand#160;/spanullispanCreating New vendors and new item setup/span/lilispanFacilitating flow of materials between various departments and parties./span/lilispanWorking with payables, operations and buyers to close out open invoicing and purchase order issues/span/lilispanProvide support in maintaining item records for accurate description, cost, uom/span/lilispanMeeting and collaborating with management to assess reliability of suppliers and vendors, and to identify solutions for ongoing problems./span/lilispanPerforming clerical duties, and maintaining accurate records and files of activities./span/lilispanLiaising with vendors from time to time to ensure timely delivery of goods./span/lilispanReviewing and updating critical lead times, min levels, etc in the buying calendar to facilitate more accurate data./span/lilispanWorking on various ad hoc projects/span/lilispanFollowing established guidelines, instructions, policies, and procedures./span/lilispanWorking with category managers to provide pricing maintenance support./span/liliand#160;/li/ulspanand#160;/spanspanWhat do you need?and#160;/spanullispanHigh school diploma or GED, college preferredand#160;/span/lilispanOne year accounting and/or purchasing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience./span/lilispanOutgoing, Energetic and Persistent/span/lilispanRelationship/Consultative Selling/spa
