Job Description DMSMS, Obsolescence, Reverse Engineering (DORE) team Contractor - Engineering Technician/Data AnalystSeeking Engineering Technician / Data Analyst to support Army Ground Equipment Obsolescence Program Management and Reverse Engineering PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Identifying obsolescence and readiness risks and presenting the findings in a user friendly format that enables focused issue resolution. The primary tool for this is SERA, which is a government owned/hosted database and analytical tool used to gather, combine, relate and interpret specific equipment data involving logistics, maintenance, engineering, quality and supplier health. The user applies queries within the tool to conduct dedicated analyses on specific program items. Additional investigative processes and analysis are required at times for summary reports and ad hoc part issues that may involve extracting current data from other database sources. SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Managing Reverse Engineering projects including interacting and communicating with other contractors and government personnel on project status to including writing and updating project status reports.
