Responsibilities include utilizing engineering tools and processes to successfully develop components and systems for vehicle programs.Effectively achieve program milestones by thorough and rigorous program management. You will coach and lead suppliers to timely execution of program deliverables with excellence.Job DescriptionAt this level you are expected to operate with a high level of independent discernment and are typically responsible for implementing functional strategy, administering and coordinating programs, counseling and advising management.As a fully-qualified individual contributor who has thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the function, you will provide expert judgment and analysis for the design, development and implementation of technical products and systems.Resolve highly complex technical issues and conducts advanced research.Recommend alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures.Skilled and proficient with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.Rely mostly on extensive personal experience and discernment to plan and accomplish goals.You will perform multiple tasks. This process is owned by the Telematics Regulatory Requirements and Certification team (Global eCall).As the Design Release Engineer for the Global eCall team, you'll work with the rest of the team members to create a new, high-quality, telematics modules for the eCall global market. You will own the release function of the eCall telematics component. In this role, you will act as a single point of contact to the vehicle programs to understand requirements, rollout plans, vehicle milestone, and therefore create the team's timetables and schedules for development. This role has the unique opportunity to interact with various vehicle programs, system engineering, safety, type approvals and validation teams, working collaboratively to achieve our goals of launching a quality product on time.The role will require you dedicate yourself to becoming the eCall domain lead and the "go-to" person for eCall requirements, development status, usage matrix and release.Key Responsibilities* Owns
