Job Specific Responsibilities:

  • Electrical BoO SME for GMNA

  • Support the Global TIE indevelopment and improving the Electrical BoO

  • Rollout and drive implementation inGMNA
  • Implement high level ofstandardization in all elements of the BoO
  • Execute standard training for allNEW Lead Electrical Coordinators
  • Grow technical competency ofelectrical coordinators in GMNA
  • Lead the GMNA Steady StateElectrical Coordinators and help with implementation of the Electrical BoO atall plants in GMNA. This person would help the Global TIE go to focus plantsand get outstanding results like seen at DHAM.
  • Host the GMNA Electrical CoordinatorsBi-Weekly meetings

  • Electrical Mfg Best Practice

  • Facilitate the communication andsharing of best practices globally

  • Own and rollout electrical assemblybest practices

  • Drive plants to achieve the E-FTQmetric
  • Lead OPEX projects as need toimprove electrical performance

  • Support improved electrical launchexecution

  • Support the Launch Electrical SME toimprove performance in launch’s

  • Drive improvement on multi-plantDRR/DRL connector/harness issues

  • Drive improve in focus plantsworking with the cross functional team

Required Skills,Abilities and Experiences:

  • Minimum 5 years manufacturing related experience
  • Minimum 3 years electrical manufacturing process experience
  • Extensive knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
  • Extensive knowledge of vehicle electrical assembly plant processing
  • In-depth knowledge of harness manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of PFMEA process
  • High level of interpersonal skills.
  • English Language

Preferred Skills,Abilities and Experiences:

  • Assembly plant experience in either Production, Quality.
  • Red X training
  • DFSS training
