Do you have frame structures experience?Your main responsibility will be the design, development and implementation of technical products and systems. Ensuring high quality designs will entail utilizing engineering tools and processes to optimally develop components and sub-systems. This team is growing and has potential to manage a range of products on multiple programs as needed!Your Program Management knowledge will aid in achieving program breakthroughs. You will coach and lead suppliers to timely execution of program work with perfection. At this level you are expected to operate with a high level of independent discernment and are typically responsible for implementing functional strategy, administering and coordinating programs. As a fully-qualified individual contributor who has thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the function, you will provide expert judgment and analysis on future products.In addition, you will be expected to:* Resolve highly sophisticated technical issues and conduct advanced research.* Recommend alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures.* Be skilled and proficient with the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.* Rely mostly on extensive personal experience and discernment to plan and accomplish goals.* Perform multiple tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.This position requires significant experience in frame/structure design and knowledge of various build volume supply base and their processes. Candidates for this position will need very little ramp up time and be able to contribute immediately to the program! Meeting and exceeding program breakthroughs is critical from the beginning!Additional Job DescriptionRequired* Bachelor's Degree Required in Engineering* Minimum three years of vehicle body on frame structure design, and experience as a military contractor is a plus* Five years of experience working in an engineering discipline* Knowledge of high and low build volume suppliers within the chassis structure space* GD&T knowledge as it pertains to manufacturing variation of mating components* Build process trouble shooting experience* Excellent collaboration skills with others within and outside of their direct organization* Ability to work professionally with suppliers and vendors directly* Demonstrated ability to solve design/manufacturing issues quickly as part of a multi-functional team.* Run efficient meetings using the Global Product Group guidelines* Resolve engineering issues, present at multi-functional meetings and track t
