Ciber Global, LLC has an opening for a Jr. Developer em(Ref# JRD29ANS)/em to work in Troy, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Job Duties: Under direct supervision, develop and integrate IT solutions by using appropriate development methodologies and standards. Involved in all phases of the software development life-cycle (SDLC) including requirement analysis, design, development and coding, testing and quality assurance, post implementation support, documentation, and user training. Identify the client's requirements by detailed discussions/meetings with client, functional users, functional/technical consultants, and product owners to collect requirement specifications, metrics, and key performance indicators. Review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested change is possible within existing system. Analyze business problems in the existing system by collaborating with end users. Prepare flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate the software architecture that meets client's requirements in an effective and cost-efficient manner. Develop in-detail technical specifications for application software to be performed by development team. Review the technical design specifications and develop a new web-based J2EE application or modify existing J2EE programs as per the design requirements. Design front-end of web application using HTML/CSS and Servlets. Implement multi-threading to improve application functionality. Write JUnit for functional testing of various test case scenarios. Inspect test results for accuracy and completeness and ensure the desired quality standards and the system functionality are being met. Provide application technical support and maintenance activities for enhanced system functionality. Prepare system requirements specification documents. Document test plans and maintain a log of all change requests. Train the users in application development techniques. Troubleshoot production issues. Use of Behavior-driven development (BDD), Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, JCF, EJB, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, XML, AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services (REST SOAP), IBM WebSphere Application Server, Apache Tomcat, IBM Data Studio, TortoiseSVN, TortoiseGit, Eclipse, IBM Rational Software Architect, Maven, Jenkins, JUnit, MySQL, DB2, and Windows. Travel and/or relocation required.Requirements: This position requires a Bachelorrsquo;s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical / Electronics Engineering, CIS, MIS, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Software Engineer or related experience.
