h1Position Summary/h1The COP Therapist is responsible to provide clinical services to all children and families meeting eligibility criteria for COP services. Services are delivered mainly in the office setting and include intake, psychosocial and other assessments, person-centered treatment planning, provision of individual, family and/or group treatment. The COP Therapist is responsible for collaborating with professional team members both from TGC as well as other providers or systems to integrate service delivery. Full-time staff must work 37.5 hours per week, including a maximum of 4 hours per week after 5:00 p.m. Contractual staff hours will vary depending upon program and client needs. h1Specific Responsibilities/h1 olliConduct Intake Assessments, including all necessary opening paperwork (Psychosocial Assessment, financial and demographic forms, etc.)/liliAssess and document the needs of children who present themselves for outpatient services in line with Person-Centered Planning./liliProvide individual, family and group therapy./liliProvide parent education, coaching and training./liliWork collaboratively with others in relation to the child and family including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, Wraparound facilitators, school personnel and other family service or support people./liliAdvocate on behalf of the child and family to assist them in meeting their needs and reaching their desired level of self-sufficiency./liliProvide referrals for services and community resources as needed./liliAssess client satisfaction and participate in program evaluation as needed./liliParticipate in clinical supervision, team meetings and case consultations./liliComplete clinical records and agency documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and procedures of the Guidance Center./liliWork with other COP and Guidance Center staff in addressing unit and agency issues and student supervision./liliFollow The Guidance Center’s professional code of ethics./liliRepresent The Guidance Center in the community in a professional manner./liliComplete all required annual trainings such as Recipient Rights, Medicaid Grievance and Appeals, Person-Centered Planning, etc./liliComplete 25 hours of training per calendar year specific to children or adolescents. /liliFull-time staff must provide 23 hours of billable service per week./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ol
