As a Senior Microsoft Solutions Engineer, you will provide subject matter expertise across multiple areas within the Microsoft technology platform to bridge the gap between business needs and technology. You will have the opportunity to work with technical and business decision-makers while aligning solutions to the latest Apex and Microsoft offerings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle escalated support and administration needs for Apex Service Delivery Team
Provide ongoing mentoring, guidance, and knowledge transfer for junior team members.
Perform implementation/migration/administration tasks related to Apex's solution offerings leveraging skills and qualifications listed below.
Attain and stay current with concepts, skills, and certifications related to skills and qualifications listed below.
Demonstrate effective use of time management to achieve billable utilization goals
Assist Apex team members in presenting recommended solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Create and maintain technical documentation for internal use and external presentations (e.g. As-built documentation, solution architecture, etc.)
Engage and develop relationships with team members from key partners such as Microsoft
Perform assessments and conduct discovery sessions to develop/design SoW's, estimates, and proposals.

System Center and Microsoft Intune
Microsoft Azure
Microsoft EM+S
Windows Server including Hyper-V and/or VMware
Modular/Converged/Hyper-converged Infrastructure & Virtualization
Networking (Firewalls, Switches, Routing, Load-Balancing, WAPs, VLANs)
Backup & Storage (SAN / NAS)
Microsoft Remote Desktop Services / VDI
Intermediate/Advanced PowerShell experience
