Many Enterprise customers seek help from AWS Professional Services (ProServe) in their transition to a cloud-based IT operating model.brbrWe are seeking a high energy professional for the position of Sr. Program Manager, AWS Professional Services, Engagement Delivery eXcellence. This position will contribute to the continued success of AWS Professional Services by organizing, orchestrating large scale Professional Services quality programs in an Amazonian-Agile manner. With a clear focus on executing, streamlining and reporting of multiple related initiatives responsible for raising the quality bar of global Professional Services engagements. A successful candidate will have the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams using Agile techniques, along with their passion for scaling Professional Services functions across multiple disciplines and activities. This position requires strong business judgment, problem solving and excellent communication skills. A track record of delivering results in a fast paced, dynamic environment is a must. This position will help contribute to the team's development and resources. In addition, the successful candidate will: build, own, and product manage scalable capability-oriented programs (Amazon Mechanisms) along with global organizational stakeholders and field teams who execute them. This position will offer will significantly increasing the quality of outcomes of our Professional Services customer engagements; collaborate across AWS functions to ensure that we are learning from others and teaching others best practices; support the strategic planning process, the annual, quarterly, and monthly rhythm of business; navigate ambiguity and use judgment on when to clarify or escalate challenges, and; know how to coordinate and manage stakeholders from a breadth of teams in order to get things done. This is predominantly an internal facing role. You will be required to travel to field locations when needed.
