Responsibilities

. Help with the day to day activities of the After-School Program and any other community center program as assigned. These include but are not limited to recreation activities, helping tutor & supervise the homework room, encouraging teens to come to youth group events.

  • Be aware of and follow all safety precautions and procedures.

  • Help with the maintenance of all areas used by the program.

  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of daily snack.

  • Assist the director in whatever manner needed.

  • Work possible seasonal hours based on community center programming.

  • Must be on time.

  • Ready to perform to the best of their abilities in all areas of the program.

  • Use the outreach opportunity to its fullest potential.

  • Aware of the mission statement of The Salvation Army and make every effort

    to be a positive representative of The Salvation Army, both on and off site.

  • Ability and willingness to promote and comply with the Mission Statement of

    The Salvation Army.

  • Be professional at all times.

  • Requests for time off need to be submitted in writing two weeks in advance.

Qualifications

18 years of age; some formal work with youth preferred.
