Job Description
Student Engineer will be working alongside the engineers in Vehicle Application and Testing department developing electric power steering systems for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and power sports. Activities will include a focused theme project as well as support/exposure to the daily working topics:
assisting in the instrumentation for, and execution of, vehicle validation testing.
under guidance developing testing procedures and devices.
preparation and the analysis of acquired data for validation reports.
assist in development activity in vehicle
Qualifications
Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
Strong computer skills is necessary
Minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.0
Must be 18 years or old

University of Michigan Dearborn
Wayne State
Grand Valley State
University of Cincinnati
Successful candidates will have an interest in the vehicle dynamics and have a strong desire to learn.
Prior experiences in following areas is a plus:
data acquisition
mechatronics
programing
driving dynamics
student engineering team activities (FSAE, Robotics, etc.)
Job activities may include work at Plymouth office, home office and regular activity at OEM customer facilities.
