The Regional Field Sales Representative will be working out of the Dallas or Houston, TX areas.Responsibilities:Responsible for existing mid-size accountsCreate, meet, and exceed the annual central region sales budget each yearProspect new sales opportunities to increase growth within the territorySell and learn Plastipaks consumer category segments: Food, Consumer Cleaning, Industrial, Water/Carbonated Soft Drinks, Adult Beverages, and Specialty Items (PET Aerosols)Learn and understand Plastipaks transformational technologies and be able to communicate those effectively to customers and prospectsDocument call reports, leads and opportunities, opportunities that are won and lost, competitive threats, etc. by using Plastipaks system, C4CUnderstand RFQ, financial statements, and Capex for investmentsWork with several Plastipak departments, including Product Supply, R/D, Quality, Cost Budget, Operations, Sales Marketing, etc.Work with the Regional Manager to set sales strategies and growth goals that support the company goals, measures, and vision (BPM)Responsible for managing existing and new customer contracts during the negotiation periodManage slow moving inventory, accruals, rebates, and amortizations agreementsIdentify open capacity within the region and find potential volume to fill capacityMaintain and foster strong relationships with key customers within the regionSupport the concept-to-market process by working closely with the APT Group the VP of Business Development to foster new innovations based on customer input and observationsDevelop and maintain strong internal relationships with the organizationQualifications:Bachelors Degree required - Packaging Engineering, Sales/Marketing, or Business degrees are preferredbr
