Role Description:Conducts, maintains, tests and repairs electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. Applies knowledge of electrical/electronics and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of Manufacturing.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Also, additional job duties may be assigned.ulliTroubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gages and test equipment./liliPlans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles, writing specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment./liliInstalls, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with MIOSHA requirements./liliAdvises operators and line mechanics of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and components./liliInforms appropriate management and line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved./liliMaintains company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment./liliPerforms preventive maintenance functions as directed./liliAssists maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting./liliAssists and trains other maintenance and/or other technical level employees./liliAbility to read and understand electrical diagramrsquo;s and understand Ladder Logic diagram for troubleshooting purposes./liliPositive working attitude in a high paced environment./liliMaintain workspace and inventory in a neat and organized fashion./li/ulExpectationsEmployees are expected to follow all standards listed below:ulliConsistently exhibit appropriate attendance habits, working the hours necessary to perform the job./liliOrganize and maintain efficiency of personal work area./liliProvide necessary, accurate, and timely feedback of all pertinent information to co-workers and management./liliEffectively communicate with co-workers and management personnel to enhance teamwork and communication initiatives./liliConsistently adhere to and support company policies and procedures, including ISO14001, IATF16949, and safety regulations.ulliAccept instructions and duties in a positive manner./li/ul/liliTreat all co-workers with dignity and respect./liliActively support the EE values./li/ulWork EnvironmentWork environment characteristics are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
