Job Description

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Tendering and contracting of Logistic activities in Overland, Parcel, Courier and Express

  • Conduct RFQ (Request for Quote) process including sourcing decision, conclude and manage contracts

  • Negotiation, Supplier selection and supporting logistic department for implementation

  • Contract Management, savings calculation and reporting at Bosch tools

  • Responsibility of Logistic cost analysis and submission of monthly base reporting

  • Review system requirements and placing of Purchasing Orders in the SAP system

  • Supplier Management System maintenance and data updates

  • Continuous communication and alignment with Central Purchasing team in Germany

  • Purchasing processes adherence and strategy alignment and execution within compliance

  • First point of contact for internal customer within the material field

Qualifications

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess a four year college degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or Engineering

  • Must have 5+ years experience in purchasing or supply chain management involving overland transportation

  • Must have at least 2+ years of project management experience within multifunctional teams and working with suppliers

  • Must have 2+ years experience working withan SAP system and MS-Office

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Supply chain experience preferably in the automotive environment: Less than Truckload in USA, Parcel, Express and Courier services

  • Collaboration and willing to be a team player within Purchasing and Internal Business Partner

  • Organized and excellent communication skills

  • Target orientation

  • Strategic and analytic thinking

  • Being able to work under pressure in a global and high demanding environment
