Scope of work may be modified by state specific rules under the Nurse Practice Act.Qualifications:emEducation:/emulliGraduate of accredited LPN/LNV school of nursing./li/ulemLicenses/Certification:/emulliValid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in the state employed./liliValid CPR certification./li/ulemExperience:/emulliOne year experience in nursing preferred./li/ulemEssential Functions:/emulliDocuments the residentrsquo;s condition and nursing needs./liliAccurately and promptly implements physiciansrsquo; orders./liliAssigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the residentrsquo;s needs and the personrsquo;s capabilities and qualifications./liliSupervises, directs and evaluates junior staff members and CNAs./liliAdministers medications and performs treatments for assigned residents, and documents that treatment as required by Company, and local, state and federal rules and regulations./liliParticipates in orientation and in-service training for personnel./liliAssists physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nursing Practice Act./liliEnsures that supplies are utilized economically and that equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner./liliReports and records pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents./liliCoordinates nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments./liliAssists with or institutes emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in residents./liliInterviews applicants and recommends hires.
