ProMedica Health System RN / Registered Nurse - Clinical Coordinator - Nursing Administration - Full Time - Days in Monroe, Michigan

The RN Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for supporting clinical projects through the completion of assigned functions, and by organizing and tracking project activities. This is to include: organizing project information and processes based upon knowledge of project goals and clinical operations; data management and reporting; and collaboration with Monroe Regional Hospital and ProMedica leadership, staff and staff development. They will serve as a primary support to the project teams to assure projects within clinical operations are complete efficiently and effectively.
They will also be responsible for rounding on clinical patients to ensure compliance with clinical core measure during hospitalization and in preparation for discharge within defined patient populations (i.e. heart failure, COPD, stroke etc.). They will help reinforce education and post discharge points of contact to ensure a plan is defined and communicated.
Other duties include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate assigned projects to assure adherence to project design and all state, federal, The Joint Commission and other third party regulations and standards, as appropriate
Assist project teams. Serves as a liaison to administration and clinical leadership to keep leadership informed of project needs and progress.
Maintain project databases to monitor progress toward project goals and planned outcomes. Reports project progress and outcomes in written and oral formats to individuals and groups upon request.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Must have RN license in the State of Michigan
Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical experience
Strong organizational and teamwork skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent critical thinking and analytical skill
Must be flexible to meet shift needs for education and evaluations of practice
Quality management processes such as Process Mapping and Six Sigma Green Belt
Previous experience in project management
Working knowledge of statistics, quality theory, and Microsoft Office products
