Position

Origami is seeking a full time (30 hours per week, flexible schedule) Human Resources Assistant with strong customer service skills, attention to detail, interpersonal and organization skills who is ethical, empathetic, resourceful, adaptable, and eager to learn.

A successful Human Resources Assistant at Origami would be motivated and enthusiastic about supporting Origami's most valuable resource, our employees, in a dynamic, post-acute environment with persons with neurological dysfunction. Pay range is $13 to $14.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment and management of Origami's hiring process to ensure applicants have a positive experience

  • Oversee and assist in coordination of onboarding tasks in accordance with HR law, licensing rules, and accreditation standards

  • Assist in the coordination of Origami's volunteer and internship programs

  • Oversight of training curriculum to ensure employees complete applicable competencies timely per Origami policy, licensing rules, and accreditation standards

  • Identify strategies to improve the employment experience at Origami

  • Maintain timely and accurate employee record-keeping including personnel files and databases

    Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent

  • 1+ year of Human Resources or related experience

    Preferred Experience

  • Associate's Degree
