Our unique ability to integrate a broad range of products and capabilities is our competitive advantage. brbrWe are currently seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer reporting to the Site Quality Manager for our Macomb, Michigan Location. brbrbbResponsibilities/b/bbrbrulli Partners with Supply Chain Management personnel in the initial assessment, selection and selection of suppliers as well as supporting supplierand#8217;s performance improvement activities. /lili Performs source inspection, First Article Inspection, supplier surveillance, process audits, and product line validations as outlined by AS9102, Triumph, Triumph Customer and industry standards. /lili Manages supplier escapes and actively participates (as required) in Supplier's RCCA and Material Review Board (MRB) activities. /lili Coordinates supplier contract flow-down requirements to ensure they are implemented and verified. /lili Writes technical reports that accurately communicate Quality Issues to the supplier /lili Adopts and drive strategies resulting in optimal business methods and practices for strengthening the Quality Management System. /lili Facilitates and performs supplier training as required. /li/ulbrbrbbQualifications/b/bbrbrulli Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, or Science. Equivalent experience when coupled with desired quality science skill will also be considered. /lili 3-5 years related supplier quality engineering experience within a manufacturing environment, Aerospace and Defense industry preferred. /lili Ability to understand and manage Supplier Quality processes and tools. /lili Ability to develop suppliers to be stronger partners for the Triumph Organization by collaborating through problems proactively. /lili Identify and drive RCCA, FAI, PPAP, APQP, PFMEA process auditing or validation, corrective action validations, and supplier quality management. /lili Must have practical knowledge of one or more RCCA Root cause analysis tools (8D, A3, etc.) /lili Understanding and experience with AS9100/ISO9001/AS9102/AS9103/AS9145/AS9117. /lili QMS Process Auditing in accordance with ISO19011 preferred. /lili Knowledge in supporting sites commodity (Gears) preferred. /lili Ability to travel up to 75%. /li/ulbr/br/br/br/Triumph Group and all its divisions and subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employers.
