D S North, LLC dba Mission Point Resort in Mackinac Island, MI seeks four Guest Services Agents for temporary, full-time employment (04/01/2021 to 11/02/2021). Duties: Complete a variety guest services tasks including check in and check out, completing the daily check list, greeting guests as they arrive, maintaining the guestrsquo;s expectations, and providing quality customer service with each and every guest interaction. Work closely with the guest services supervisor. Respond to guest questions regarding Mission Point Resortrsquo;s property and Mackinac Island. Effectively resolve guest complaints while staying positive and professional. Communicate with other departments within the hotel to relay relevant information. Complete the daily checklist per shift. Communicate professionally and effectively via radio and phone. Perform additional guest services duties as assigned.May perform other job duties pursuant to 43-4081.00 - Hotel, Motel, and Resort Desk Clerks.35 hours/week, OT varies; shifts are often 7+ hours with 30 minute unpaid break each shift; 5 days/week (Sun-Sat, schedule varies and includes evenings and weekends; business is open 7 days/week); shifts vary based on venue and may be any time between 7:00 am to 11:00 pmNo formal education, training or experience necessary. On-the-job training will be provided.Must be available to work dates of employment and hours/shifts stated in job listing. Must be able to walk, stand, and move for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, push, and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to bend, kneel and reach. Must be able to speak and understand English.$12.00/hr; O/T $18.00/hr; Workers will be paid no less than $12.00 per hour. Employer may pay higher wage rates to workers based on seniority with employer and level of skill. Overtime hours may vary and will be paid no less than $18.00 per hour. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, if the worker has no immediately subsequent H-2B employment, the employer will provide or pay for workerrsquo;s reasonable costs of return transportation subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
