This position is responsible for reviewing investigative findings, drafting administrative documents, conducting compliance conferences, recommending disciplinary sanctions involving licensed facilities, assisting with drafting administrative rules and related documents for the administrative rules process, and analyzing legislation under the Medical Marihuana Facilities Licensing Act (MMFLA), Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marihuana Act (MRTMA) and Michigan Medical Marihuana Act (MMMA).

Position Description Required Education and Experience

Education

Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.

Departmental Analyst 9

No specific type or amount is required.

Departmental Analyst 10

One year of professional experience.

Departmental Analyst P11

Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the ability to quickly adapt to policy and priority changes, have a sharp legal focus with meticulous attention to details, empowered by a rapid paced environment, strong interpersonal and communications skills, prior experience with/as a practicing attorney, and is open to change and growth.
