SUMMARY
The Director of Employee Experience & Engagement reports to the Chief Human Resource Officer and is responsible for the creation and execution of Peckham’s Employee Experience & Engagement plan for staff. Activities for this position are company-wide and address the talent acquisition, talent development and internal communication needs of Corporate and Business Line operations. The successful candidate will have broad experience related to human resources, (organizational development, employee engagement, talent management)
Core responsibility is to develop and deliver an end to end employee experience including recruitment, engagement, internal communications, coaching and performance management.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Employee Experience & Engagement
Partner with culture champions to drive the company Mission, Vision and Behaviors (i.e., values) throughout the organization.
Partner with key business leaders to ensure a consistent experience is delivered to all employees, regardless of functional area
Provide support for Diversity and Inclusion Programs.
Manages employee engagement survey program including working with vendor. Works with executive management to analyze survey results, identify trends and make recommendations to improve and maintain high employee engagement. Influences high-level stakeholders without direct authority.
Support the design and execution of signature programs, key company-wide events, and initiatives that promote and reinforce Peckham’s culture and values and create a professional, connected and engaged workplace
Talent Development
Deliver trainings to various audience types. Trainings may include on-boarding, orientation, compliance, leadership & supervision, procedural trainings, train-the-trainer activities, and coaching. Trainings may include instructor-led experiences, webinars, eLearning modules, and follow-up with self-guided training experiences.
Serve as the DiSC Administrator for assessments; conduct debriefings, facilitate workshops and comparison report discussions
Provide leadership and career development coaching to staff. Administer assessments, deliver feedback, and serve as ongoing coach. Periodic coaching (one on one) with key critical talent.
Perform learning-related administrative tasks including interacting with the learning management system, scheduling rooms and calendar appointments, reviewing assessments, and maintain communications between participants, supervisors, and vocational specialists.
Manage external consultants, vendors, and training partners required for the development and delivery of training.
Collaborate with Talent Development team and Job-Specific Trainers/Mission Engagement Trainers/Training Assistants to ensure consistency between delivery methods, materials used, and to avoid duplication of effort.
Talent Acquisition
Serve as an advocate for talent acquisition, partnering with all areas of HR and business unit leaders to ensure competitiveness in the marketplace for talent
Solicit recruitment forecasts from business units
Liaison with marketing team to ensure external communications are in alignment with TA objectives
Ensure alignment between corporate and business unit orientations and onboarding
Serve as POC with external vendors for TA resources
Assist with hiring process for selected positions as necessary
Internal Communications
Provides oversight to internal communications specialist who will develop overall communications planning and strategies as well as communication programs in support of HR strategies, initiatives and organizational changes
Assist with creating a budget for internal public relations activities
Partners with marketing staff to make sure internal communications match external branding
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Prepare reports and maintain files for auditing and reporting
Demonstrate strong communication and project management abilities with various stakeholders.
Demonstrate high degree of professionalism and emotional intelligence when working between the departments and business lines.
Interact with and use technology including, but not limited to: computers, projectors, software set-up, online conferencing, recording, Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Cornerstone Learning Management System, Workday Human Resources Information System.
This position requires some flexible hours and may be assigned schedules that fit non-traditional office hours to meet the needs of staff and team members including start times at 7:00 a.m. or late afternoon, evening, and Saturday schedules.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will supervise internal communications and talent acquisition staff as well as interns.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
At least five years of experience with talent management including talent acquisition, talent development and internal communications
At least five years of experience designing, developing, and delivering training and assessments, or at least five years meaningful and progressively responsible project management experience
Pass and maintain a successful background check
This position will require traveling to other Peckham locations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree required from an accredited college or university in the areas of Human Resources, Organizational Development, Training, Adult Learning, Educational Technology, or other related field
Professional certifications related to human resources, organizational design, training and development, and talent acquisition/coaching
