Pfizer Aseptic Services Lead I in Kalamazoo, Michigan

ROLE SUMMARY

Support aseptic services, ensuring that applicable safety guidelines and policies are followed:

  • They will perform or coordinate the completion of the following tasks with the unit: All tasks are

  • conducted in accordance with appropriate processing standards, such as FDA's current Good

  • Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). The Lead will develop and maintain systems with assistance from Maintenance and Supervision. This position is responsible to support operations by working to establish and implement efficient processes, monitoring specific results, improving

  • identified process opportunities, maintaining SOP, logs, records, curriculum/OJT/Plateau records, inventory issues, and providing training support. In addition, this position supports the overall aseptic services team by the following: acting as the focal point for preventive maintenance and repairs, equipment modification, assisting in identifying problems beyond normally expected troubleshooting skills, serving as technical expert for the area of operation,

  • participating in developing equipment specifications for new equipment and capital scope, author and revise documents, support corrective action implementation, assist in deviation investigations, and working the shop floor on a regular basis as production workload demands.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrates interpersonal leadership and accountability in day-to-day interactions with an operational focus on customer needs and process requirements is required. Considerable demonstrated skills in communicating (oral and written) effectively with diverse individuals/groups; facilitating trust and understanding, developing, influencing, and managing work, employee and customer relationships. Build and manage tools that will track daily metrics. These metrics will include safety, training, performance and other critical aspects of our jobs .

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma / general education degree (GED) and 6 months related experience or military experience or an associate's degree

  • Two to three years related experience and/or training

  • Certificates, Licenses or Registrations: Must complete APA certification. Must have computer

  • knowledge to learn the following:

  • SAP

  • Plateau

  • Microsoft Office

  • QTS

  • EAMS

  • Ariba

Basic administrative and/or standardized, semi-skilled work routines; operation of non-complex technical and/or mechanical tools and equipment. Demonstrated interpersonal leadership and accountability in day-to-day interactions with an operational focus on customer needs and process requirements is required

Considerable demonstrated skills in communicating (oral and written) effectively with diverse

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • 8 hour shifts. Holidays and weekends included. The person chosen for this role will be working second shift (1400-2230)
