The Metering Technology Center (MTC) integrates with key business partners such as the Business Center, Account Managers, Customer Energy Specialist, Customer Billing, MV-90, Smart Energy Program, Electric Metering Operations and residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The Metering Technology Center is trusted to provide cost effective, safe and accurate metering to optimize company revenue while providing customer value. spanJob Description/Responsibilities/spanThe Technician performs a variety of ucomplex/u tasks and technical work requiring uingenuity/u as to application of normal procedures. uTasks performed may include/u:ulliThe uevaluation/u of test or survey results./liliTroubleshooting more complex equipment and/or metering systems./liliDeveloping test plans and determining specifications./liliDesigning complex test equipment or test plans. /liliConsulting or advising on resolution of problems for gas metering equipment and gas metering testing equipment. /li/ul uIn this role you may/u:ulliCoordinate work with employees in other departments and/or external agencies. /liliDirect the compilation of internal or government required reports. /liliConduct field investigations./liliEstablish various procedures./liliLead or train lower-level employees./liliDirect the preparation of work orders and time and material cost estimates for review by Company Engineers./li/ul uTypically, in this role you would complete tasks by/u:ulliInterpreting data and taking corrective action within general practices, procedures and programs./liliWorking under general supervision while seeking advice of senior employees/supervisors only on matters not covered by policy. /li/ulspanEducation Experience Requirements/spanulliRequires a minimum of 0 to 3 years of applicable experience./liliA two-year Associate degree in a scientific or technical fieldulliOR 48 scientific or technical credit hours as measured on a semester basis. em(The 48 scientific or technical credit hours can be obtained through colleges, technical institutes, licensed apprenticeship programs, trade schools, military programs, etc.)/em /li/ul/li/ul spanspanemFor further consideration, please rememb
