Join us for a summer in this unique National Park!/div /section section id="st-jobDescription" class="job-section" div h2 class="title"Job Description/h2 /div div class="wysiwyg" TheMaintenance Recycling Attendanthelps ensure compliance with environmental and safety programs by facilitating the Recycling Program and assists with the general maintenance of facilities, equipment, and vehicles. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS: liCollects, sorts, and breaks down recyclables./li liTransports recyclables using company vehicle; Loads recycling containers onto Ranger III vessel./li liResponsible for the proper and safe operation of recycling equipment including vehicles./li liDistributes and empties recyclable containers throughout the property./li liResponsible for training and assisting tam members with the recycling program./li liPrepares, maintains and submits necessary records of recycled materials./li liReports instances of non-conformance by departments of processing procedures for recyclables./li liResponsible for compliance with safety standards as applicable to the job./li liPerforms general facilities maintenance; Paints buildings, railings, and other property, repairs furniture, unclogs drains, replaces light bulbs, etc./li liOperates and maintains hand tools including screwdrivers, hammer, steel measuring tape, utility knife, level, pliers, wrenches and socket wrench set, shovels, brooms, step ladders, etc./li liUses power-operated tools including nail gun, skill saw, screwdriver, drill, etc./li liAssists with opening and winterization of facilities./li liAssists throughout the Maintenance Department as needed./li liAssists with loading and unloading boats as required./li liResponds to guest requests and questions; Acts is a professional manner./li liFollows established safety protocols when operating all tools and equipment, and when applying all products./li liKnows and follows all company, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Programs and policies./li liWorks extra shifts and hours as required./li liAssists in other positions and departments as needed./li liOther duties as assigned/li /ul /div /section section id="st-qualifications" class="job-section" div h2 class="title"Qualifications/h2 /div div class="wysiwyg" liAbility to work independently with a minimum of supervision to complete assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner./li liKnowledge of safety and environmental policies./li liElectrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry skills and knowledge./li liKnowledge, skills and ability of proper use of hand tools including Able to use
