Responsible for cycle counting of inventory across all the repetitive build events within the high-volume business unit and reporting results back to build team and High-Volume Buyer.
Lead on resolution of inventory accuracy issues, interruptions in source of supply as they relate to the build floor.
Identify space constraints related to assembly and source of supply. Work with the High-Volume Buyer to set EOQ?s with supply base and manage staggered deliveries to meet assembly needs and minimize floor stock.
Work with the High-Volume Business Development Manager and the High-Volume Buyer to set out-source strategies (consign vs. buy) and develop the kitting plans for the outsource function. Work with the out-source supplier to solidify those strategies.
Maintain the inventory levels for consigned material ensuring consistent source of supply to both the consignee as well as the build floor.
Manage inbound schedules from outsource suppliers to ensure consistent source of supply of sub-assemblies for the build floor.
Work with build team to rectify supply interruptions related to non-conforming parts regardless of root cause to maintain consistent source of supply and mitigate down-time.
Drive root cause corrective action for source of supply interruptions including but not limited to: Deliver issues, inventory record accuracy issues, supplier quality issues, etc.
Act as the voice of the supply chain team at all stand-up meetings related to the high-volume group.
Work with the Production Manager/Lean Leader to optimize layout with regards to material delivery needs.
Any other work as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager from time to time.
Bachelor?s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
4+ years? experience in in a repetitive manufacturing environment managing some aspect of inventory control preferred.
Prior experience with Purchasing and or Inventory Management a preferred.
Highly organized with great attention to detail, accuracy and consistency.
Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel and MS Word
Strong interpersonal skills and history of success in a team environment
Effective communication (verbal/written) and presentation skills
Self-starter that is resourceful and can easily adapt to changing priorities
Able to thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment
