div bspanGeneral Summary: /span/bspanUnder general direction, performs functions related to business activities including, but not limited to: greeting patients, families and visitors, scheduling and registering patients for appointments via phone and face-to-face communication, collecting and posting patient payments, completing charge entry activities, monitoring registration work queues, faxing, copying, collating correspondence, ordering office and medical supplies. /spanbspan/span/bspan /spanspan /spanbspanEssential Duties:/span/bspanspan /spanspan /span/spanspan /spanspanspan1.span /span/span/spanspanSchedules patient appointments and maintains provider schedules./spanspanspan2.span /span/span/spanspanCompletes patient registration following the Beaumont Health Corporate Registration procedures (i.e. demographics, insurance verification, payment collection)./spanspanspan3.span /span/span/spanspanInforms patients of delays in appointment times and/or processing of requests./spanspanspan4.span /span/span/spanspanEffectively communicates with all internal and external customers and patients./spanspanspan5.span /span/span/spanspanCoordinates medical record for release, in accordance with Beaumont Health and Beaumont Medical Group policies and procedures./spanspanspan6.span /span/span/spanspanPerforms general office work; copying, faxing, filing, scanning, handling correspondence./spanspanspan7.span /span/span/spanspanCoordinates and facilitates new patient and annual forms (i.e. consent to treat, medical records release)./spanspanspan8.span /span/span/spanspanDemonstrates knowledge and commitment to the mission, philosophy and objectives of the Beaumont Medical Group and Beaumont Health. /spanspanspan9.span /span/span/spanspanProvides a pleasant and comfortable environment.
