Assistant Banking Center ManagerThe Assistant Banking Center Manager role will be responsible for contributing to the overall success of a Retail Banking Center by committing to banker readiness, conducting marketing activities leading to revenue growth in loans, deposits and noninterest income, contributing to a successful customer centric experience, proactively managing disciplined operational risk activities, while striving for excellence in execution in each of the mentioned areas. They will also provide effective leadership in all areas. This role's work schedule involves occasional evenings and Saturdays.Position CompetenciesSuccessful incumbents possess interpersonal savvy, can focus on the customer, have high decision quality, drive for results, direct others, motivate others, good presentation skills and process management.Position Responsibilities:Marketing ActivitiesulliAssists with coaching, executes and impacts the proactive marketing activities for the attraction, expansion, and retention of customers./liliCompletes assigned Daily Planning activities./liliProvides effective New Customer Onboarding and Customer Engagement by routinely strengthening new and current customer relationships, introducing new and existing customers to Comerica's products and services, addressing customer questions, e.g., how-to use products and services and follows-up on a timely basis./liliParticipates in the acquisition of consumer and business clients through the effective use of targeted leads, self-sourcing new business and managing referral source relationships, and attracting new customers to Comerica./liliSupports Portfolio Management efforts to retain, expand and increase the number of portfolio customers in the Banking Center./liliImpacts revenue growth of the Banking Center./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulOperational RiskulliEnsures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations; and Comerica policies and procedures./liliEnsures completion of necessary compliance related training./liliEnsures the Banking Center is Operating effectively within risk assessment and compliance standards./liliApproves transactions within authority./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulCustomer ExperienceulliProvides coaching assistance to others./liliAble to assess needs and add value to customers and prospects./liliStays current, seeks to learn about new products, services, technologies and customer service tactics; assists others./liliEducates and fulfills customer requests, routine and complex./liliResolves complex customer complaints./liliMaintains and adds value to deepen existing relationships./liliProvides transactional customer service, including but not limited to the following: Accept and process deposits, withdrawals and payments and handle other over the counter and mail transactions, as needed./liliImpacts the customer experience by assisting others using defined customer experience guidelines and other customer experience behaviors and feedback as needed./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulPartnership ActivitiesulliAssists with coaching and impacts the efforts that support Banking Center Collaboration./liliDevelops a relationship with the partner to support business development./liliProactively identifies opportunities to add value to customers by introducing them to partners./liligt
