All qualified individuals are encouraged to apply, including individuals with disabilities and Protected Veterans.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKSand#8226;Ensure products being used by customers meet expectations.and#8226;Mentor and train new Tech Reps.and#8226;Ensure customer quality and service expectations are met.and#8226;Eliminate or reduce customer complaints.and#8226;Help achieve or exceed sales goals.and#8226;Help achieve or exceed profitability goals.and#8226;Help increase gallon growth.and#8226;Communicate competitive information, new products and selling issues to Product Finishes General Industrial Sales Reps and Area Sales Manager.and#8226;Communicate extended product knowledge in General Industrial segment.and#8226;Attend coatings seminars that are pertinent to Product Finishes General Industrial sales/marketing.and#8226;Manage product test runs at designated customer facilities.and#8226;Support national accounts specifications approval process.and#8226;Assist sales reps in calling on prospective customers/target accounts; provide technical support for product demos as directed.and#8226;Maintain contact with laboratory on current technical issues.and#8226;Assist with equipment installations and various line or equipment modifications/adjustments.and#8226;Conduct technical training seminars at customersand#8217; facilities.and#8226;Evaluate product complaints and decide best way to resolve problem.and#8226;Assist customers in preparing paint specifications to meet product applications.and#8226;Troubleshoot on-line technical problems such as correcting batches and formulation of products.and#8226;Advise customers of product line changes and improvements.and#8226;Maintain expertise in Product Finishes equipment use and surface preparation.and#8226;Shade product batches using intermix systemhoenix/Aurora system.and#8226;Assist customers with product inventory control/re-ordering.and#8226;Train customers on product knowledge and application methods.and#8226;Evaluate product complaints and decide the best way to resolve the problem.and#8226;Assist sales reps by preparing samples, panels, etc. for presentations.and#8226;Coordinate technical service issues between facilities, sales reps and product service room.and#8226;Maintain customer technical service issues on file for follow-up.and#8226;Troubleshoot and resolve customer problems with spray equipment.and#8226;Document and refer potential sale leads to appropriate sales rep.and#8226;Operate all material handling, color matching, tinting, mixing and lab testing equipment as required and in a safe manner.and#8226;Other duties as assigned.POSITION REQUIREMENTSFORMAL EDUCATION:and#8226;Required:and#8226; High school education or equivalent is required. Prefer a bachelorand#8217;s degree in a business-related field.Preferred:and#8226; Bachelorand#8217;s degree in a business-related field.KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE:Required:Technical knowledge and/or experience in the paints and coatings industry.General Industrial segment knowledge and/or experience.Atleast 6 years in the field as Technical Services Rep.Preferred:Understanding of computers.
