Holland Home Sous Chef - Full time in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Job: Sous Chef – Prepares and cooks food for residents and staff using standardized recipes and complying with regulatory requirements; assures that all prepared food items meet standards for temperature, quality, consistency, freshness, taste and appearance.

Requirements Six months to one year of cooking experience required with preference of large scale food preparation Completion of Food Safety Training for Food Service Workers within 90 days of hire Ability to read, speak, write and understand the English language Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 60 pounds Pass basic physical including a drug screen and receive an annual flu shot Pass background check Schedule includes working every other weekend and an occasional holiday
