Key Account Manager, American Health Packaging (0000252F)brbrUnder the general direction of the Vice President, Sales and Marketing promotes and sells American Health Packaging (AHP) products to existing and new customers in the health systems/Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and alternate care market segments within a specific geographic area detailed below. Primary responsibility would include, but not be limited to, executing targeted sales strategies in order to increase product pull through, increase contract compliance, and increase distribution of products and establish relationships with key decision-makers. bThe specific geographic area includes; Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska/bdivbriThis position is compliance critical and responsibilities include ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate, and government regulatory requirements. It is the associate's responsibility to observe all safety rules. Any condition thought to be hazardous or unsafe should be reported to your supervisor immediately./ibrulliExecutes the implementation of programs within specific geographic area and/or account base to maximize pull-through and distribution of products while minimizing service level related issues./liliPromote and sell new product launches to support successful launch strategies./liliHave a basic understanding of pharmaceutical wholesalers and generics./liliPromote and sell Regional GPO awards to maximize product penetration within provider accounts./liliSupport wholesaler product stocking initiatives to maximize distribution of products./liliRaise market awareness and deliver the sales message for AHP, our products./liliDevelop personal and business relationships with key decision makers and buyers within accounts to ensure goals are reached, and to increase access or information as requested. /liliServe as a knowledge resource for the organization for the key accounts, developing methodologies, trends, emerging technologies and keep abreast of the latest developments in the marketplace./liliCoordinate, manage and respond to RFPs (e.g. Health Systems/IDNs) /liliCommunicate internally with AHP (operations, and product management) and ABDC sales organization to help alleviate any issues that occur and develop programs to take advantage of any opportunities that arise in the field./liliServes as AHP liaison to ABC HSSS sales organization within given sales territory to support both groups strategic sales initiatives within assigned territory/region./liliWorks both independently and collaboratively with other sales team members focusing on accounts where high touch customer interaction is essential to business retention and expansion. /liliCollaborate with Customer Service to understand the ordering process and the AHP Sales and Return Policies./liliMust be willing to work extended hours, as needed, in order to meet sales objectives./liliMust be willing to travel extensively within selected geographic territory and/or account base; travels to events such as conferences, trade events, sales meetings./liliPerforms related duties as assigned./liliNegotiate and manage product rebate agreements directly with assigned accounts/liliPlan and organize sales call's in the territory for effective use of time and economic considerations/liliManage and stay current on all required vendor credentialing programs for hospital access/li/ul/divbrQualificationsbrulliBroad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sci
