Position Summary

Research will focus on the cell biology of the plant endomembranes, particularly the endoplasmic reticulum (ER), using multidisciplinary approaches, including proteomics, biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology, genomics and advanced live-cell imaging. We are interested in identifying and characterizing proteins necessary for the integrity and function of the ER.

Required Degree

Doctorate -PhD in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology/Gene Regulation

Minimum Requirements

Candidates for the position should have a PhD in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology/Gene Regulation, Biochemistry, Genetics, Proteomics or a related field.

Experience with Arabidopisis genomics and EMS screening is essential.

Desired Qualifications

A record of publication in peer-reviewed journals and a strong background in cellular and molecular biology and experience in the plant secretory pathway is desirable
