h3Position Summary/h3 The Research Administrator II position will work with primary investigators toand#160;prepare grant proposal development packages; coordinate process and timeline for proposal submission including budget and justification development, budget review, subcontracts, conflict of interest, indirect cost rates, cost sharing, among others; balance multiple, complex proposal projects at one time.and#160; Reviews sponsor requirements and monitors proposals for completeness and accuracy; facilitates communication with investigators, subcontractors, and the Office of Sponsored Programs to assure policies and procedures are followed and deadlines are met.and#160; Participates in development and implementation of college level policies; provides expert support and information to faculty and staff in units, schools and institutes relating to research administration; serves as college representative on research administration committees; participates in orientations and training sessions related to Pre-Award Administration. h3Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills/h3 Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in business administration, finance, or a research-related field; experience with and/or knowledge of grant proposal process; one to threeand#160;years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in research administration including the area of pre- or post-award processes, or related field such as regulatory administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
