They monitor equipment to ensure the quality, efficiency and safety of the process. They are also responsible for the safe operation, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of the processes equipment and instruments.Responsibilities:Responsible for working in a safe and efficient manner at all times adhering to all safety procedures and good housekeeping practicesOperate and maintain process and equipment used to manufacture product at quality that meets or exceeds expectations at throughput levels thru set process plans.Troubleshoot issues within the process and make adjustments needed to correct.As needed utilize process data to improve the process.Identifies opportunities for process improvement and shares with leadership team.Leads Process change overs, productivity, quality checks, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs within the process.Works in a safe and efficient manner at all times, monitors team members for safe practices and mentors best methods.Any other duties or projects as assigned.Qualifications:Established mechanical and repair skillsAttention to detailStrong verbal, written, communication, and people skillsUnderstanding of manufacturing efficiencies and process capabilitiesAble to problem solve and analyze information to achieve resultsStrong organizational skillsStrong listener and learner able to process new informationCan handle multiple tasks and issues at the same time and prioritize in fast paced environmentCan monitor equipment and use what they see to maximize process operationAble and willing to train othersAble to work in different environmental conditionsCan follow standardized proceduresWorks overtime based on production needs and demandsSelf-motivated and flexible on job assignments.Required: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).Preferred: Associate/Bachelors Degree.Exposure to mechanical industry preferred.Exposure to the plastics industry preferred.Lifting Requirements: 0 75 lbs.Constant: Lift and/or move up to 15lbs.Frequent: Sit, stand and walk up to 12 hours per day.
