This role establishes and promotes Company policies, culture, and safety within the facility to foster a positive working environment.Responsibilities:Manage the employment process from recruitment phase to retirement/termination. This includes, but is not limited to, guiding employees through new hire orientation, overseeing benefits and payroll, conducting evaluations, facilitating leave of absences, training, rewards, disciplinary action, and conducting exit interviews.Prevent and resolve problems or issues for employees and managementAdminister leave of absence requests for associatesManages site payrollManages worker compensation claims and incident reports for Plant and OSHA LogParticipates and leads Incident Investigations; Fishbone Diagram and 5 WhysManages all employee Performance AppraisalsConducts Plant Core Safety Audit Team; leads team in weekly audits of lines within the Plant to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, manages Action Tracker of to be completed items within the Plant, safety and cleaning initiatives within the PlantManages Plant Metrics of onboarding, off-boarding, safety; looks for trends within metrics to implement changes, help make process improvementsEnsures compliance with audits; SOX, ISO 9001, Customer AuditsAids in maintaining Plant GMP, Food Safety, Site Security, Insurance Compliance, Training Worksheets, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), Emergency Action Plan, Hot Works, and Confined SpaceImplement policies, procedures, and new programs within PlantPrepare and/or review reports in regards to employee data and safety dataOversee data collection and retention of records in regards to employment files, benefits, Affirmative Action, accident investigation and reporting, workers compensation, safety, and securityRepresent organization at any personnel related hearings or investigations.Other duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelors Degree or one to two years of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to interpret and apply principles of logical and scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with mathematical concepts, symbols, and statistics. Ability to deal with abstract and concrete var
