Job Title: GA Maintenance Group Leader
Factory ZERO is currently seeking a motivated and accomplished General Assembly Maintenance Group Leader who will provide technical knowledge and leadership support to the GA maintenance department.
As the Maintenance Group Leader, you are responsible for operations, maintenance and repair of plant equipment. You may oversee a medium size group of employees in a skilled area of work. Work requires the ability to make decisions based on established procedure. Work is of a technical nature using independent judgment within the limits of GMS; focusing on Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environment (SPQRCE). Use of independent judgement.
Supervises maintenance activities and projects
Responsible for diagnosis of equipment malfunctions
Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipment
Complies with the terms of local and national labor agreements
Implements safety and good housekeeping practices
Implements divisional and Corporate policies
Frequent contact with others outside the work group
Establishes a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project
Coordinates input from internal/external customers to better understand customer needs and/or perceptions
Keeps abreast of current product developments and trends in areas of expertise
Actively identifies new areas for learning and takes advantage of learning opportunities
Relatively high level of analytical ability where problems are complex
Minimum of 1-3 years of related maintenance experience
Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
Proven project management and communication skills
Knowledge of basic mechanical concepts
Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job-related area
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to lead diverse/cross-functional teams as well as mentor, motivate and elicit work output from peers and other team members.
Experience with SAP and MAXIMO
Experience with Teamcenter
