Communication Development/FCSD Marketing Research Analyst
Job Description & Qualifications:
The Communication Development & Ford Credit Service Division (FCSD) Marketing Research Analyst will be a contact for the Global Data Insights & Analytics (GDIA) organization for the Global Ford and Lincoln Marketing Teams and FCSD organization.
This Dearborn, MI located position will be responsible for managing market research to generate consumer insight as an input to the communication development process in support of communication launches. Additionally, this position will also support the market research needs of Ford Credit Service Division.
Support GDIA Marketing Research lead with primary research for the Brand, Communication, Agency and FCSD teams in North America.
Liaise with key internal clients to ensure their research needs are met.
Prepare Project Statement of Work, Research Plan Discussion Agreement and purchasing/finance documentation in support of projects.
Support the planning, design, execution, analysis, and reporting of communication development marketing research events.
Manage research supplier staff during research engagements to ensure project quality, design and analytics are aligned with business objectives and company standards.
Manage research projects on-site, including analysis of results and development of reports and presentations.
Analyze data to provide actionable insights to business customers.
Present research insights to key client groups internally and Agency.
Electronically distribute reports and presentations. Publish final reports and presentations to the GCI Knowledge Management System.
Travel is required for this role.
BA/BS in Marketing or Business
4+ years of market research experience
4+ years of experience with qualitative and quantitative methodologies and working knowledge of market research principals -- sampling, methods, analysis.
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) with an ability to translate and communicate analytical research findings into actionable insights.
Proven capability to think systemically, strategically and analytically while executing decisively
Ability to integrate data and findings from other areas and present a holistic view of a position
Strong interpersonal, teambuilding, and negotiating skills with a can-do attitude and an ability to work well with internal clients, advertising agency and research partners
Proven project leadership and coordination abilities
Ability to anticipate, quickly address and make correct decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to multitask and handle multiple assignments at the same time.
