Lundin Mining HR Payroll Administrator in Champion, Michigan

h1General Description: Responsible for processing accurate, compliant payrolls./h1 h1Key Responsibilities:/h1 liProcess payrolls, ensuring timely deposits for employees/li liMaintain electronic personnel records in HRIS system/li liEnsure payroll is compliant with all State, federal and company guidelines/li liDevelop and process reports as needed/li liProvide support for 401(k) audits, finance audits, workers compensation audits, and others as required/li liYear-end processing as required by law/li liMaintain employee data as required/li liOther duties as assigned/li /ul Education, qualifications and experience: li5 years of payroll experience required/li liAssociates degree in relevant field or equivalent experience in payroll preferred/li liHuman Resources Information System administration and implementation experience preferred/li liAbility to perform manual calculations related to payroll, bonus and other payouts as needed/li /ul liKnowledge of current payroll practices, and state and federal payroll laws/li liExperience processing stock options through payroll preferred/li liKnowledge of accounting and reconciliation practices/li liDemonstrated proficiency with Microsoft suite/li /ul Key Personal Competencies: liAction oriented and produces results ndash; tasks are accomplished within required timeframes/li liLeadership ndash; accepts responsibility and accountability/li liIntegrity and trust ndash; operates by personally defined set of ethics and values/li liDecision making ndash; correct, appropriate, timely, based on sound judgment, business sense and technical data/li liCommunications ndash; clear, concise, objective, well organized, is an active listener/li liTechnical excellence, analysis, problem solving ndash; subject matter expert, researches/support proper solutions/li liIngenuity and resourcefulness ndash; utilizes resources effectively and efficiently, thinks outside the box/li liOrganized ndash; activities are logically and appropriately prepared, coordinated and conducted/li liPlanning and scheduling ndash; work is planned properly, scheduled effectively, and accomplished efficiently/li liQuality ndash; output meets/exceeds standards, is accurate and complete/li liTeam work ndash; works collaboratively focusing on team needs, provides recognition, is open and supportive/li liFlexibility ndash; accepts change and is open to and supportive of innovative ideas and methods/li /ul HSEC Accountabilities: Everyone in the workplace is responsible for his or her own safety and for the safety of their co-workers.
