More information about NSF International can be found at nsf.org.DescriptionPosition Summary:The Leader, IT, Business Process, Global Labs will assist in the development and execution of the global Information Technology (IT) strategy aligned with the NSF mission, values and strategy. The Leader will assess, develop and implement IT systems for global labs aligned with global standards to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. The Leader is a part of the IT leadership team.Key Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:and#8226;Supports the development and implementation of the NSF Information Technology strategy for global labs. Ensures financial and operational goals are achieved and aligned with customer expectations and the NSF strategy, mission and values.and#8226;Responsible for the planning, assessment, development and delivery of IT systems for global labs. Ensures standard operating procedures are implemented across the function ensuring systems, tools and processes achieve operational excellence.and#8226;Drive the continued organizational transformation within the Labs from an internal service business model to an external profit/loss center.and#8226;Assists in the development and management of NSF systems architecture, policies and protocols for communication and data exchange, and integration or connection of business information systems.and#8226;Ensures the system portfolio meets quality standards and defined performance targets, assigning resources and equipment as needed in order to deliver projects according to plan. Ensures collaboration across internal and external team members including vendors and contractors to ensure speed and efficiency of deliverables.and#8226;Develops a culture of engaged, high performing, developed and accountable talent to support the organization. Ensures teams are empowered to meet and exceed goals through performance management, leadership development, and business acumen. Maintains positive team-oriented operations that support the NSF positive culture vision.QualificationsExperience:and#8226;Experience leading an IT function, preferably in a global organizationand#8226;Demonstrated experience translating requirements into deliverables in an Agile/Scrum delivery model. Experience with SDLC activities expected to deliver custom applications and Agile Requirements Methodsand#8226;Demonstrated experience with applications systems analysis and applying SDLC development methodology and a business processing modeland#8226;Experience developing and implementing strategyand#8226;Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships, understand customer needs and deliver customer-centric solutions aligned with the mission and goalsand#8226;Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, including initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing the work of a project team to achieve goals, budgets and timelinesand#8226;Demonstrated experience in allocating resources and managing expenses
