Work will include integrating process, mechanical, and control requirements into comprehensive electrical systems. Tasks will include detailed design to support electrical installations in the power, mining, and hydroelectric sectors. This will involve cost estimation, preparation of specifications, wiring and schematic diagrams, and bill-of-material development. The successful candidate will assist the team with proposal development including defining work scopes, deliverables, schedules, and budget. Tasks will involve design and analysis and include the preparation of plans and specifications, report development, cost estimating, and the design of power and controls from the ground up.This person will also be responsible for managing projects, providing technical leadership, and managing teams to meet client needs, and may include coaching and mentoring less-experienced staff. The work may involve short-term out-of-town assignments. Minimum Qualifications ulliBachelor's degree in electrical engineering with academic coursework focused on power or control systems/liliAt least 5 years of related experience working in a design capacity on projects directly related to the job responsibilities described above at a consulting engineering or industrial organization/liliProfessional Engineer (PE) certification, or ability to obtain within one year/liliWorking knowledge of codes, standards, laws, and regulations applicable to the project assignments described above/liliComputer skills and familiarity with AutoCAD, Excel, and Word/liliAbility and willingness to work cooperatively with team members in a high-energy working environment that encourages self-initiative/liliA flexible working style and a willingness to modify personal schedule as required to meet deadlines and/or client needs/liliLegal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship/liliAcceptable driving record/li/ul Preferred Qualifications ulliKnowledge and experience with industrial manufacturing processes such as power plants, petroleum refining, mining and/or minerals processing, or chemical production/liliDemonstrated project organization and management skills /liliStrong client-relationship and business-development skills /liliKnowledge and skills related to PLC and HMI programming and commissioning/liliKnowledge and experience related to piping and instrumentation diagram/liliKnowled
