DEVELOPMENT RESPONSIBILITY
50% Data Analysis and Testing
Conduct accurate and comprehensive evaluation of various automotive thermal evaluations
Lead chassis dyno evaluations based on test standards
In depth data analysis during real time testing to monitor evaluation KPIâs (Key Performance Indicators)
Check data post evaluation for accuracy / integrity based on evaluation KPIâs
Organize data in graphs and tables to meet report needs
Write technical reports to summarize evaluation results and conclusions
Write comprehensive weekly reports
50% Evaluation Preparation
Operate and maintain test chambers and equipment
Work in different evaluations areas to support current and future workload
Data Acquisition systems set up
Disassembly of key components to install instrumentation
Perform safety checks on vehicles to ensure safe operation
Participate in long term planning, group action plans, and safety initiatives
Requirements:
THIS POSITION REQUIRES 20% DRIVING
QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES
Associates degree (or higher) or equivalent in automotive related field
MS Office Suite experience (Excel for data acquisition, Word for tech reports, and PowerPoint for creating presentations)
Excel skills to include - Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH functions, macros and basic VBA scrip understanding
Intermediate automotive mechanical skills and knowledge
Cooling systems
HVAC systems
Powertrain
Clean driving record
20% travel required (including international)
Added bonus if you have:
Chassis dyno evaluations experience
Towing experience
Machine shop experience (cutting, grinding, welding)
Automotive testing experience
IPETronikâs data acquisition experience
