What you’ll do…
As an Application Engineer on the Device Health team, you will work on our Duo desktop application. This application helps people throughout the world keep their computers safe. You’ll be working with a team to build a multi-faceted product on Windows, MacOS, Linux paired with a Python backend service. This is a new product initiative with significant greenfield opportunities. You will help us maintain, test, document, and investigate new features and customer issues.
We emphasize software craftsmanship and apply it to our development practices. You will collaborate on technical direction, review documentation, and be an owner over the quality of our software.
Skills you have…
Deploy and maintain IT infrastructure *
Deploy and maintain servers in a cloud hosted environment *
Worked with multiple teams to successfully complete a large project *
Able to set up, deploy, and manage Windows and Mac devices *
Able to test, document, and deploy Windows/Mac applications *
Worked with customers/clients to investigate, debug, solve, and document issues *
You strive to make products simple to understand and easy to implement *
You seek, appreciate, and can act-upon user feedback
Even better if...
You have experience communicating with external partners *
You’re able to set up, deploy, and manage Linux devices *
You’re always up-to-date on tech news and various software releases *
You have experience in a customer-facing support role *
You have experience as a Windows systems administrator *
Leverage source control to maintain projects *
